Post Comments

Ok, after a lot of looking through some php codes, I finally found out why the comments weren’t showing up. I somehow missed the fact that I needed a plugin for it to work properly (my brother missed it too, but I wouldn’t know what to do without him). Now that I found the plugin, and got it activated, I really am glad to have this theme. The “Similar Posts” scrolling drop down thing (really, what should I call it?) is very nice.

The next project is to fix the shoutbox. So the next post will probably be about the shoutbox making its return.

So, now that it’s all working properly, go post some comments about these other posts. I promise I’ll try to get more posts soon.

–EDIT–

Ok, so no new post, but this will do just fine. This time I was trying to use the wrong line of code. I actually went to go search for a new shoutbox, and looked at the readme of the one that I found (if you have ever looked at a readme file from an online source, it is usually formatted to make the filesize smaller, but in doing that, it is incredibly hard to read unless you know the trick). I sifted through the whole readme and found that I only need to add one line in the location that I want to place it. For now, it’s going up in the header (just click on the little sign that says “pull”), but it may get moved to a different location if I can make it work out better.
