The end of Summer is right around the corner, so some of the people I work with as well as myself decided to end the summer right with another BBQ. We went up to Kalithea Park like we did last time. The view from there is pretty good. It was another small group, but this time Sarah didn’t go all out on the food like she did last time. Hamburgers, hot-dogs, a few bags of chips, and some soda and water. She wanted to get $5 from each person that was going to eat, but about half the people didn’t pay because there weren’t going to eat there anyway.
We tried to play Pictionary, but between two teams of two each, it wasn’t all that great. Then I opened up Guesstures, a “game of split-second charades.” While we did play that for a while, only Sarah and myself were the ones doing any acting. Greg provided some music on his (unplugged) electrical bass guitar.
After all that, we went back to Togo’s to get some ice cream. Sarah stayed at the park while we were gone, and wanted Jen to bring back a milkshake for her. Charles was giving Jen a hard time about it and brought out Sarah’s shake (filled to the top of the dome lid). In response to this, Jen left a little gift for Charles since he was cleaning the lobby that night.
It was fun, but I think it definetly could have been better.
