So, the school year is coming to an end, and it’s time to sign up for next semester. I’m going to move up to pre-calc, hopefully something that will be a little more challenging. Apart from my trig math, I’ve been helping some of the people I work with on their math. It is kind of cool to be able to walk someone through the algebraic process of equations and have it make more sense to that person.
Last Spring, I took an archery class because I was one unit short of being a full time student to keep my insurance down. This next semester I am one unit short again, but my mom doesn’t want me to take archery again (she is paying for my classes after all), so I thought that I would try tennis. I also have to take English 300 again since I had to withdraw from that class last Spring. I’m trying to be smart this year about my teachers; I’m signing up for the English I had for 101 because I thought that he was pretty good (and he wasn’t patronizing like the 300 teacher I had last year). I’m also going to try to get the teacher I had for Intermediate Algebra to by my Trig teacher. I wanted to take another programming class, but the prerequisite class for the next one offered at Folsom isn’t offered, so I won’t be taking a prgramming class next semester. I may wait until I move on to a four year school before I try ot continue with my programming.
I’ve been working at Togo’s for over a year now, and I think it’s finally time for me to move on to something else. My brothers have been talking about finding a house that they can split the rent on. I became interested in moving out with them, but I currently don’t make enough at my current job. This is what finally pushed me to apply to Best Buy. My brothers were planning on moving into a house by the end of the year, but now they will hold off until next year. Keith and his girlfriend are going to be moving back home until we find a house next year. Kyle won’t have that luxury, as his old bedroom has been converted into my parents’ walk-in closet. Hopefully, by the time we are ready to rent a house, I will be making enough to keep up with the cost of living away from home.
Sweet. I didn’t know you applied to Best Buy. I dont know if it pays any more than togo’s but I think you would have an awesome time working at someplace like Game Stop.
Anyway, best of luck.
