Well I put in another application in to Best Buy about a week and a half ago. I hadn’t heard from them so I decided to go in today and follow up on it. Well the guy that is in charge of hiring was working with some new people when I went in, so I left my name and number so that he could give me a call when he was finished to talk to me about it.
Anyone who has had to fill out an online application knows that 100 question character test that you have to do. It’s full of really stupid questions and you answer with either “Strongly Agree,” “Agree,” “Disagree,” or “Strongly Disagree.” I have always hated these tests because you don’t know if the person answering them is being honest, and there is no middle ground, it’s all black and white (and off-white and near-black). Well when this guy called me back and found my application record, he told me that it seemed as though I hadn’t passed the test and would have to wait six months to resubmit an application.
I say you should never have a computer try to analyze a human’s personality.
Currently attending Folsom Lake College and working as a shift leader at a Togo's / Baskin Robbin's store. Programming and logic in general fascinate him, as Chadd tries to become a Computer Science major.
