Well I have started to actually work on my website again. I finally upgraded the WordPress version as well as several of the plug-ins (I even added some new plug-ins). As I’ve been working on this new reviews section, I’ve been learning a little bit of javascript. I’m pleased with how the navigation is turning out so far. The navigation is all I have done because it’s used so much and is more trouble than I thought it would be.
The next step will be to figure out how to present the reviews, and I think my last step in the process of making this section is to integrate a search area that only searches within the reviews stuff. I have an idea of how to do it, but I’ll need to consult Kyle to see if it’s possible.
Speaking of my brother, I went to his apartment on Wednesday to play magic with Dave, Cody, and a friend of Cody’s. After a few games of Magic, Cody and his friend whipped out HeroScape (true Nerdom right there). My brother also played, but I decided to just watch. It looked kind of interesting. It’s basically a turn-based strategy game. If it’s available again, I might try to play too.
Well, Spring is pretty much here. I’ve driven my car with the top down a couple of days now. It’s just warm enough (as long as the heater is blasting on the floor) to be tolerable. I finally got out to the tennis courts on Friday, and went again today. I’m starting to get my serve working again since I’ve been away from the courts for a few months. I would like to play a game with someone soon. Or at least get out there with someone else so I can actually work on ground strokes.
Currently attending Folsom Lake College and working as a shift leader at a Togo's / Baskin Robbin's store. Programming and logic in general fascinate him, as Chadd tries to become a Computer Science major.
Lol, nerdom. Turn-based eh, not really a big fan but it might surprise me. Anyway, we need to play tennis soon.
